Andros, the northernmost island of the Cyclades, has a long maritime tradition. Explore sandy beaches, rocky coastlines, water springs, hills, and green plains! It lies northwest of Tinos, separated from it by a three-quarter mile wide strait called Steno.
Arrival at Athens International Airport and transfer to the selected hotel in Athens. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight at your hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel and pick up from the hotel to have a half-day Athens Guided City Tour, regular and shared, with Acropolis site, Acropolis Museum and Panoramic tour at the Athens Highlights. Return to the hotel after the tour and rest of the day at your disposal. Overnight at your hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to one of Athens ports to take ferry with the destination of the beautiful island of Andros!
Arrival after approx. 1,5 hours and transfer to the selected hotel in Andros. The rest of the day at your disposal to explore the islands’ sandy beaches, rocky coastlines, water springs, hills, and green plains!

Enjoy the flora of the main island; chestnut, walnut, plane, oak, weeping willows, poplar, mulberry, chased and olive trees.

Breakfast at the hotel and we suggest you visit optionally the capital of the island, Chοra (which means “main village”), home to many famous Greek captains and ship owners.
Admire the remarkable combination of the Cycladic architectural tradition with neoclassical influences, its medieval, neoclassical and island houses, the sweeping steps, the spacious square with the trees, the imposing churches and museums make up a fascinating set.
Complete the enchanting picture of the island with Frankish (Mesa or Kato) castle connected to the mainland by a single arched stone bridge from the 13th century!
Return to the hotel and overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel, and today we suggest you visit optionally the world-famous Museum of Modern Art, of Vassilis and Eliza Goulandris Foundation, which hosts unique collections of paintings and sculptures.
Not to miss the Archaeological Museums in Chοra & Paleοpolis, as well as the Olive Museum located at Pitrofos village, a fine example of a small pre-industrial olive oil producing unit that is a must-see site. Make a point in visiting the inland village of Messaria, which was of great significance during the Byzantine Period, as well as Faneromeni’s castle built in the 11 century at 600 m. Stop by the monasteries of Zoodochos Pigi in Batsi and Panagia Tomarhiani in Korthi and admire stunning views as well as important collections of heirlooms and manuscripts.
Breakfast at the hotel, and at the indicative time you will be transferred to the port to take ferry back to the port of Rafina. Upon arrival in Rafina, you will be picked up and transferred to Athens international airport to take your flight back home.

The trails offer moderate/difficult grade with a minimum of 3,5 hrs and maximum 6,5 hours walk. Participants should be in good physical condition with some experience.
Insurance: Participants should be covered by their own personal travel-health insurance prior to the trip. The personal insurance must at least cover medical expenses as well as air rescue and the cost of repatriation.
