At your arrival, a private taxi with an executive assistant will wait for you at Athens International airport, holding a sign with your name on it. Meet and assist and transfer to your hotel. Check in at your hotel and the rest of the day is at your disposal for a first meeting with capital of Greece, Athens.
Breakfast at your hotel. Today we are going to explore Athens and sightseeing’s with Acropolis. Athens Half Day Tour begins with a panoramic drive around Syntagma square, passing by many sightseeing hot spots such as National Garden, Hadrian’s Arch, St. Paul’s Church, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Catholic Cathedral and Schliemann’s House. We will then drive past the Athens Trilogy which includes the University of Athens, the Academy of Athens, and the National Library. We continue for a photo stop at Panathenaic Stadium, otherwise known as Kal-limarmaro Stadium, where the first Olympic Games took place in 1896. As we proceed, we pass by Zappeion and the Temple of Olympian Zeus. Last but not least, we make our way to the ar-chaeological site of Acropolis, an UNESCO’S world heritage monument and we visit Propylae, as well as the small Temple of Athena Nike. Of course, our visit shall not be completed without the Parthenon and Erechtheion. The expert guided Athens sightseeing and museum tour continues with a pleasant short walk passing by Herodion and Dionysos Theater, in order to visit the New Acropolis Museum. Breakfast at your hotel. Today we are going to visit National Archaeological Museum. The Na-tional Archaeological Museum of Athens is the largest archaeological museum in Greece and one of the most important museums in the world devoted to ancient Greek art. It was founded at the end of the 19th century to house and protect antiquities from all over Greece, thus displaying their historical, cultural and artistic value. One of the most important exhibits, Antikythera mechanism is housed is in the Bronze Collection of the National Archaeological Museum of Ath-ens. A replica of the mechanism is also on view at the American Computer Museum in Bozeman, Montana. After our tour return to your hotel. Relax and explore the city of Athens, taste the traditional flavors of food and wine, relax to a café at Plaka area, or just have fun at Monastiraki or Psyrri!
Breakfast at your hotel. Afterwards we will have transfer to Piraeus port where we are going to embark to the ferry boat. After 8-10 hours arrive at Samos. If you wish you can take a domestic flight with s supplement. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel. Rest of the evening is free at Py-thagorio area. Relax, have a dinner or you can go for night clubbing.
Breakfast at your hotel. After we are going to have a guided tour to Pythagorio area, in which you will have the opportunity to discover the walls of Polykrates, the ancient theater, the Roman Baths, the Archaeological Museum and the amazing tunnel of Eupalinos, one of the great engi-neering feats of all time. Then continue with the visit to the old port in which you will see the statue of the famous Mathematician Pythagoras. Afterwards, guided visit to the temple of god-dess Hera in Heraion village, which was one of the largest temples in Greece. Return to your ho-tel. Time at your leisure. Overnight in Pythagorio area.
Breakfast at your hotel and today meet with your guide to visit Vathy, Archaeological Museum and experience Wine tasting and guided tour at the wine museum in Malagari area. In the after-noon transfer to Pythagorio so as to take your domestic flight to Athens. Arrival at Athens and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight in Athens.
Breakfast at your hotel. One private tour in Delphi from Athens to visit the most popular site of UNESCO which was considered the center of the world because of its position. Visit the Temple of Apollo, Castalia Spring, the Delphi Oracle and the temple of Apollo, where it is said that Pythia delivered her oracles and the place where Themistokleia a Delphic priestess, who introduced to Pythagoras the principles of numerology and geometry and at the same time taught math’s to those visitors, who had the relevant appeal. Legend says that, she has decorated the altar of Apollo with geometric shapes! Afterwards visit Arachova a traditional cosmopolitan village, time for lunch and leisure. In the afternoon return to your hotel in Athens. Overnight in Athens.
Breakfast at your hotel. Today is a special day to discover by your visit the museum of Ancient Technology in Athens. The purpose of the museum is to highlight this relatively unknown aspect of ancient Greek culture and to prove that the technology of the ancient Greeks shortly before the end of the ancient Greek world was extremely similar to the beginnings of our modern tech-nology. After today tours end, we will have private transfer to Athens international airport to catch your flight back home.
