After breakfast at the hotel, departure to visit the center of the city, the Syntagma Square, (Constitution Square), The Greek Parliament, the Unknown Soldier Monument, The Athens Academy, The University and the National Library. During our tour to the Acropolis we will see the Adrianos Arch, The Temple of the Olympic Zeus, a short stop to take photos at the Panathenaic Stadium (Kallimarmaro), where the first Modern Olympic Games of 1896, took place.
At the Acropolis, we will visit the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally the Parthenon “the harmony between matter and spirit”, the monument that “brings order to the mind”. Duration of the visit is approximately 3 hours. Return to the hotel of choice and accommodation.
After breakfast we leave for a Classic tour to Nafpaktos (Lepanto) , Galaxidi, Itea and Delphi. We leave through the famous suspension bridge from Rion to Antirion.
We continue towards the picturesque towns of Nafpaktos, also known as Lepanto, is a municipality and a city of the peripheral unit of Aetolia – Acarnania, on the northern coast of the strait that separates the Gulf of Patras from the Gulf of Corinth, in Greece. It was transferred to Venice in 1407, which renamed it Lepanto. The Venetians fortified it and in 1477 it resisted a four-month siege by the Ottomans; but in 1499 it was finally conquered by Bayezid II. On October 7, 1571, it was the scene of the so-called Battle of Lepanto, in which the Spanish writer Miguel de Cervantes fought, and a statue in his honor exists in the city. In this battle the Holy League and the troops of Selim II fought, the former being victorious, and which meant the end of the hegemony of the Turks in the Mediterranean Sea.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and leave for a visit to the well-preserved castle that dominates the hill with the pine forest behind the town. After the visit we leave Nafpaktos for Itea, a beautiful seaside resort town! On the way we will pass the famous and picturesque nautical village of Galaxidi. There we can have lunch at one of the local restaurants and enjoy typical Greek cuisine and fresh fish! After lunch we leave for Itea. We arrive in Itea and transfer to the hotel for accommodation.
Most of the town is made up of brick mansions that recall the wonderful past of the town. The architectural expression was influenced by the naval profession of the inhabitants who, as if travelling the world, brought building materials and craftsmen from abroad. The first mansions were built in 1850 while the European influence is evident. Many houses even have ceilings designed by Italian painters.
Upon arrival in Itea transfer to the hotel of choice and accommodation. We suggest optionally having a walk to the port of Itea or having a coffee and simply enjoying the special view of the Corinthian Gulf!
After breakfast visit the ancient settlement called Kirra, dating back to at least 3,000 BC, near Itea on the way out from Itea to Delphi. On the seashore, there used to be an ancient settlement called Kirra, dating back to at least 3,000 BC. Although no one knows its exact origins, it is believed that merchants from Crete established the city. Kirra flourished after 1100 BC as a port city that was the gateway to Delphi. It was surrounded by walls and dotted with temples dedicated to Leto, Apollo and Artemis, including large statues. The city’s heyday probably ended in 740 AD with a massive earthquake that hit the area. Today, only parts of a medieval tower remain. After the visit we leave for Delphi. We arrive in Delphi, the center of the ancient world according to Greek mythology (omphalos in Greek). Check in and accommodation in Delphi.
We enjoy breakfast at the hotel and begin with a visit to the archaeological site of Delphi and its Museum. Visit of the monument of the Argive Kings, the Polygonal Wall, the monument of Platea and the Temple of Apollo, famous for its oracle, as well as the spectacular exhibits of the Delphi Museum, including the frieze of the treasure of the Sifnians, the Sphinx of Naxos, the Statue of Antinoos and the famous bronze Charioteer.
We leave in the afternoon towards the north of the country, we will make a brief stop at the famous Thermopylae pass, a geostrategic place in Antiquity. In the afternoon, we return to Athens. Arrival and accommodation.
At the indicative time, transfer to the airport to take flight back home.
